Subject	what consequence can a scored camshaft cause?

Message	[ http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?903722-cam-scoring-how-bad-is-bad ] for example, this camshaft, i know its not our z32, but i have a simlar cam, I don't know if I need to replace a new one but i need justification before pulling any trigger. I can't think of a bad consequence of a slightly scored camshaft.
